A PR faux pas

All Nippon Airline’s nonstop flight from Tokyo arrives Monday at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport to a salute of water sprayed from airport fire trucks. It is the first 787 with regular passenger service to Seattle. After our excitement over the first 787 flight to arrive at Sea-Tac in this week’s Monday Morning Musings, we quickly bit our tongue. Looks like it didn’t take off on the celebratory day for Tokyo due to a maintenance issue. The flight was delayed, following the welcoming reception that took place as the plane landed at Sea-Tac Airport. Read more about the delayed flight here.
