CenTrio Decarbonizes; Supplies Crucial Energy to Major Seattle Hospitals

CenTrio is a multinational sustainable energy operator and provider, with its Seattle branch serving over 165 buildings throughout downtown — including Swedish Medical Center, Harborview Medical Center, and Virginia Mason Medical Center. As the leading energy provider to countless university campuses, healthcare systems, cities, and communities across the U.S., CenTrio is currently working to decarbonize their Seattle district to align with carbon-cutting goals outlined by Washington State’s Climate Commitment Act and Seattle’s Clean Energy Roadmap.

While streamlining massive critical utility infrastructures to reach regional sustainability goals is no easy feat, the Keller Group has assisted the leaders of CenTrio’s Seattle district with stakeholder outreach by setting collaborative, solution-oriented meetings with local leadership to calibrate their decarbonization process.

Recently, we fostered a CenTrio x Northwest Railway Museum partnership dedicated to educating the public on district energy for the new Seattle Waterfront Park’s grand opening.
