Music Aid Northwest’s ‘Play it Forward’ Event Funds Underserved K-12 Music Programs
The Keller Group worked hand-in-hand with Music Aid Northwest to raise awareness and generate publicity around their biggest annual fundraiser, Play It Forward. A 501 (c) 3 nonprofit, they are dedicated to raising funding for direly underserved music programs in K-12 public schools across Washington State. Music Aid NW’s grants have provided instruments, sheet music, risers, and countless essentials requested directly by music teachers. Over the last 11 years, the organization has raised nearly $2 million to expand music exposure and programming to Washington State students.
Play It Forward 2025 featured a dazzling gala, cocktail party, culinary dinner, and concert featuring local student performers as well as Original Heart bassist Steve Fossen and drummer Michael Derosier. They ultimately raised $250,565 to keep underfunded music courses alive in K-12 public schools statewide.
